How do we package our Frameless Doors?
Depending on the quantity of doors on the order, we either package the door slab together with the concealed door frame and Hidden Hinges or, if the order is larger, we package door slabs and door frames in separate crates.
All crates are Softfoam or Styrofoam cushioned inside to protect against possible shipping damage. Crates are build using 3/8″ Plywood and are extremely strong.
What is the transit time for door shipments?
For Canada shipments it takes between 2-8 days for an order to arrive on site. Since we are in BC, Canada, the fastest transit times are for shipments going to BC and Alberta and longer transit times for the central and eastern provinces. We also ship to the US on a regular basis and transit times are between 1-2 weeks.
How do the doors get delivered?
Our crated Frameless Doors are delivered via large scale freight companies like Day&Ross Freight. They will arrive at your site with a 5-ton truck and they also call-ahead to make a delivery appointment beforehand. You will be responsible to have manpower available to unload the door crates either by hand or via a forklift.
What happens if I notice damage on one of the crates?
If you notice any damage to the crates, please take a few pictures and note it on the packing slip when you sign for the delivery. Then you should contact us and we will do our best to get you any damaged parts right away.
